Founded on compassion
and rooted in Wolverhampton
OliveCross Healthcare was born from a conviction that home care in Wolverhampton could be better, much better.
Our founder, Mrs Fatima Efe Osazuwa, spent years observing the home care landscape across the West Midlands. She saw dedicated care workers doing their best under difficult circumstances, but too often hampered by poor management, lack of clinical oversight, rushed visits, and a system that treated care as a commodity rather than a calling. She saw families left anxious and uninformed, unsure whether their loved ones were truly safe and well cared for. And she saw individuals who deserved the very best of care receiving something far less than that.

A Vision for Change
Mrs Osazuwa founded OliveCross Healthcare to change that story. Her vision was clear: to build a domiciliary care service that combined genuine clinical expertise with authentic compassion, professional excellence with personal warmth, and rigorous standards with a deeply human touch.
To make that vision a reality, she brought on board Mrs Abies Joyce Olutola as Registered Manager. Mrs Olutola is an NMC-registered nurse who spent over five years on the front line at Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, working in acute medical and surgical wards where she developed deep expertise in chronic disease management, wound care, medication safety, infection prevention, patient advocacy, and end of life care. Her clinical knowledge and hands-on experience are the clinical foundation upon which OliveCross Healthcare is built.
Together, Mrs Osazuwa and Mrs Olutola have created something that Wolverhampton has been missing: a home care provider where every decision is informed by clinical knowledge, every care plan is genuinely personalised, every care worker is properly trained and supported, and every family can trust that their loved one is in safe, capable, and compassionate hands.

Our Mission
To deliver outstanding, clinically led home care services that empower every individual to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own home, surrounded by the people, places, and memories that matter most to them.
Our Vision
To become the most trusted and respected home care provider in Wolverhampton, known for clinical excellence that families can rely on, person-centred care that individuals value, and a workplace culture that care professionals want to be part of.
Values That Are Lived, Not Just Written
Values are only meaningful when they are lived, not just written. At OliveCross Healthcare, our values are embedded in our recruitment process, our training programmes, our supervision sessions, our care planning, and our daily interactions. They are the lens through which we make every decision.
Compassion

Clinical Excellence
We hold ourselves to the highest clinical standards. With an NMC-registered nurse leading our service, clinical expertise is woven into every aspect of what we do: from the way we assess needs and identify risks, to the way we manage medications, monitor health changes, and train our care workers. We do not cut corners, and we do not accept 'good enough' when better is possible.
Dignity and Respect
Every person who receives our care is a unique individual with a lifetime of experiences, achievements, relationships, and stories. We honour that individuality. We treat every person with the respect they deserve, regardless of their age, background, health condition, or personal circumstances. Your home is your private space, and we will always treat it accordingly.
Person-Centred Approach
You are the expert in your own life. You know your body, your routines, your preferences, and your goals better than anyone. Our role is to listen, learn, and build a care experience that reflects who you are and what matters to you. We will never impose a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, we adapt our service to fit around your life, not the other way around.
Integrity and Transparency
Trust is earned through honesty. We communicate openly and clearly with individuals, families, and partner organisations. We explain costs upfront with no hidden charges. We share care records digitally so families can see exactly what is happening. And when things go wrong, as they occasionally do in any service, we own it, we fix it, and we learn from it.
Continuous Improvement
Outstanding care is not a destination; it is a journey. We actively seek feedback from the people we support, their families, our staff, and our partners. We audit our own performance rigorously. We invest in training and development. And we use every piece of data, every compliment, and every complaint as fuel for improvement.
What Makes OliveCross Healthcare Different
In a city where families have many choices for home care, the differences between providers can be hard to see from the outside. Here is what genuinely sets OliveCross Healthcare apart, and why families across Wolverhampton trust us:
Clinically Led by a Registered Nurse
Many care agencies meet the minimum regulatory requirements. We go significantly further. Our Registered Manager's NMC registration and extensive NHS experience mean that clinical oversight is not an afterthought; it is the foundation of our entire service. Care assessments include clinical observations. Care plans incorporate evidence-based approaches to common conditions such as diabetes, COPD, heart failure, dementia, and stroke recovery. Medication management follows pharmaceutical-grade protocols. And our care workers receive clinical training that goes well beyond the industry standard.
Technology That Gives Families Peace of Mind
We have invested in a secure, state-of-the-art digital care management platform that transforms the way families experience home care. Every care visit is recorded in real time, including arrival and departure times, tasks completed, medication records, and wellbeing observations. Families can access this information through a secure app on their phone, giving them real-time visibility of their loved one's care, no matter where they are.
A Culture of Genuine Care
Our care workers are not just employees; they are people who have chosen to dedicate their working lives to helping others. We recruit on values first and skills second, because we can teach someone to assist with personal care, but we cannot teach them to care about another human being. The result is a team of people who genuinely look forward to visiting the individuals they support, and individuals who genuinely look forward to seeing them.
Small Enough to Care, Professional Enough to Deliver
We deliberately manage our growth to ensure we never compromise on quality. We would rather support fewer people brilliantly than stretch ourselves too thin and deliver an average service. Every individual matters to us, and we have the capacity to give each person the attention and time they deserve.
Our Commitment to Wolverhampton
OliveCross Healthcare is proudly and permanently rooted in the Wolverhampton community. Our office sits at the heart of the city on Salop Street, our team lives locally, and our care workers are recruited from the very communities we serve. We understand Wolverhampton's diverse cultural landscape, its rich heritage, and the unique health and social care needs of its population.
We work in close partnership with the City of Wolverhampton Council's adult social care teams, local NHS community services, GP surgeries, district nursing teams, hospital discharge coordinators, occupational therapists, and voluntary and community sector organisations. These partnerships enable us to deliver truly coordinated care that wraps around the individual and connects seamlessly with the wider health and social care system.
